ONE LAST THING

Think On These Things:

Circle 10 Council

ü  It is easier to bend a boy than to mend a man…

ü  Opportunity knocks but once in the life of a boy – make it happen

ü  It isn’t what the boy does to the wood that counts – it’s what the wood does for the boy

ü  Cub Scouts have more need of models than critics

ü  The interests of childhood and youth are the interests of mankind

ü  The greatest use of life is to expend it on something that will outlast it

ü  No man stands too tall as when he stoops to help a boy

ü  Someone said ‘Boys will be boys’. He forgot to add “Boys will be men

ü  The mark of a trained Cub Scouter is to see something in a mud puddle besides mud

ü  There is no failure until you fail to keep trying…

ü  There are not Seven Wonders of the World in the eyes of a Cub Scout –there are seven million

ü  Cub Scouting is contagious – let’s spread it

ü  Laughter is the shortest distance between two people

ü  A true conservationist is a man who knows that the world is not given by his fathers, but borrowed from his children

ü  You can preach a better sermon with your life than with your lips

ü  The only thing wrong with the younger generation is that many of us do not belong to it any more

ü  Where we are going and how we move is more important than where we stand

ü  I shall pass this way but once – if there is any good I can do, let it be now –for I shall not pass this way again

ü  Others will follow in your footsteps more easily than they will follow your advice
